The Maranacook Lake Association offers the following sponsorship opportunities for those who wish to get more involved with supporting our our efforts to protect and improve the water quality of Maranacook Lake.
Sponsor a Courtesy Boat Inspector ...
Sponsor a courtesy boat inspector for a day at either the Readfield or Winthrop boat ramp.
Boat inspections are our lake's first line of defense against invasive plants and animals.
They have proven themselves as the most effective way to prevent invasves in Maine.
But, we cannot provide them without trained boat inspectors.
The cost for a trained boat inspector in 2009 is $75 per day.
We will post a sign acknowledging your support of the CBI program on the day you

Make a Donation of your time.
Train to become ...
a courtesy boat inspector, a mil-foiler, a water quality tester
in either the either the Readfield or Winthrop basin.
